Hi, I’m Gianluca Callara, a botanical and wildlife artist. My primary medium is watercolour, though I also experiment with graphite and pastels in mixed-media work. Nature is, and always will be, my greatest inspiration—my practice is very much a devotional act.

I am currently undertaking a Diploma in Botanical Illustration with the Society of Botanical Artists. Alongside my studies, I teach drawing and watercolour classes, offer private tuition, and take on commissioned work while continuing to develop my own personal projects.
